It's been quiet on Sony's end regarding their remake of THE STEPFATHER, but it is still coming and it hits theaters on October 16th. A website just went live at http://welcometothefamily.com for the flick which features the trailer (see it below), some new images in the gallery & some downloads. Check it out!

Directed by Nelson McCormick (PROM NIGHT) from a script by Joe Cardone, the STEPFATHER remake stars Dylan Walsh, Sela Ward, Penn Badley, Amber Heard, Paige Turco, Braenden LeMasters, Skyler Samuels and Jon Tenney. It's out on October 16th, 2009! More when we hear it!
