Lar von Trier's new movie ANTICHRIST, will play a pre-Halloween release in Los Angeles and New York, starting Oct. 23 courtesy of IFC according to Variety. According to the article, "IFC will widen the theatrical release after the platform launch. The company, which usually releases theatrical titles simultaneously on video-on-demand, has set a VOD date of Oct. 21 for "ANTICHRIST." More details when we hear 'em!


In ANTICHRIST, a grieving couple retreat to 'Eden', their isolated cabin in the woods, where they hope to repair their broken hearts and troubled marriage. But nature takes its course and things go from bad to worse… Directed by Lar von Trier from a script by von Trier and Anders Thomas Jensen, ANTICHRIST stars Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsbourgh (daughter of the French singer/songwriter).
