I love the original STEPFATHER. Hell, I'm a big fan of the highly under-rated and under-appreciated sequel STEPFATHER 2. And as much as I like Dylan Walsh (NIP/TUCK), it's going to be really, really tough to match that performance given by Terry O'Quinn (LOST's Locke!) from the original 2 movies. But... I'm willing to give this one the benefit of the doubt. Especially after looking at this simple teaser poster. JoBlo's got the entire image for the theatrical one sheet. Directed by Nelson McCormick (PROM NIGHT) from a script by Joe Cardone, the STEPFATHER remake stars Dylan Walsh, Sela Ward, Penn Badley, Amber Heard, Paige Turco, Braenden LeMasters, Skyler Samuels and Jon Tenney. It's due in theaters on October 16th, 2009! More when we hear it!
