FRIDAY THE 13TH's IV-VI: DELUXE EDITION DVD Art!

Yesterday, Paramount Home Entertainment announced brand new "deluxe" special editions of FRIDAY THE 13TH PART IV: THE FINAL CHAPTER, FRIDAY THE 13TH PART V: THE NEW BEGINNING and FRIDAY THE 13TH PART VI: JASON LIVES. as well as Blu-Ray editions of FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 2 and FRIDAY THE 13TH 3D. Today, we've got a look at the DVD cover art.
Ya know? It's really frustrating when a major studio hires graphics people that have obviously never seen any of the movies. I will confess to really liking the one for PART 5, but the mask isn't inaccurate in the other two. (Is that even "zombified" Jason on the cover to PART 6?) Here's a thought... why not use the original theatrical posters like the VHS boxes did back in the good old days? Regardless, have a peek below. I think they should have stayed with the classic design, why change it, it was cooler then this crap. The masks arent even right.

i would have to agree this cover art isn't so great but i like the fact that they decided to stay with the 3d stuff in part 3 since it was in 3d in the first place. this is good because that means that i might see it in 3d one of these days i love the idea of 3d but 3d in a horror movie like that is better.
