RE-ANIMATOR Remake... In 3D?!

Shock Till You Drop is reporting that producer Ray Haboush (along with Brian Yuzna) are developing a remake of 1985 Stuart Gordon helmed cult-classic RE-ANIMATOR. For years, the entire original gang behind the first RE-ANIMATOR, Stuart Gordon, writer Dennis Paoli, producer Brian Yuzna and actor Jeffrey Combs were attempting to launch a proposed new trilogy of RE-ANIMATOR starting with HOUSE OF RE-ANIMATOR. (Also long rumored to feature William H. Macy as the president!) Looks like instead, they're aiming to re-launch the tale of crazed science student Herbert West. And early word is in'll be in 3D!

Combs expressed in our interview with him last year that he had a difference of opinion with Gordon on how to continue the further exploits of Herbert West in HOUSE OF RE-ANIMATOR. (Read it HERE!)

Read more details on Shock's original news post HERE! Keep in mind, this is just the priliminary announcement. The remake is probably a few years away still.
