Rob Zombie never officially acknowledged that Scout Taylor-Compton was reprising her role as Laurie Strode in his HALLOWEEN sequel H2 (now shooting in Georgia). He writes the following on his My Space blog:

"I never posted this since I figured everyone already knew this, but I was wrong. I've gotten tons of emails asking who's playing Laurie. Scout is back and she is tearing it up as Laurie. We've only worked for 4 days and she is battered and bruised, but she is hardcore and kicking ass.

Here is a new pic of Laurie Strode being rushed into Haddonfield General. Let's just say this is the best part of her stay. The worst is yet to come."



Rob Zombie returns to write and direct HALLOWEEN 2, which stars Scout Taylor-Compton, Malcolm McDowell, Tyler Mane, Sherri Moon Zombie, Daeg Faerch, Danielle Harris, Brea Grant, Bill Moseley, Caroline Williams, Daniel Roebuck, Dayton Callie, Richard Brake, Matt Bush, Howard Hesseman, Bill Fagerbakke, Ezra Buzzington, Jeff Daniel Phillips & Mark Christopher Lawrence. H2 hits theaters this August 28th!
