Is SCREAM 4 Now Part Of A New SCREAM Trilogy?!

Consider this a rumor until proven otherwise, but Ropes Of Silicon is running a screen capture of an email document which outlines that writer/SCREAM creator Kevin Williamson has closed a deal with The Weinstein Company to pen SCREAM 4, 5 and 6. Yep, a new trilogy, which would confirm earlier reports that the 4th entry in the SCREAM franchise would introduce younger, newer characters, yet have cameos by SCREAM alumni like Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courtney Cox. The same document also states that Williamson would write & direct a remake of Curtis Hanson's THE BEDROOM WINDOW.
Wes Craven revealed last week that he'd consider returning to do SCREAM 4, but only if the script & story were great. Check out more comments from Craven HERE. And the original report about the new SCREAM trilogy HERE!
