Is Dakota Fanning Joining The TWILIGHT Sequel 'NEW MOON'?!

E! OnLine is reporting that an offer has gone our to actress Dakota Fanning for the role of "Jane" in the upcoming TWILIGHT sequel 'NEW MOON'.
The article says, “There were no auditions,” a source reveals. “They just offered it to her outright, and now they’re in negotiations. They’ve been going back and forth.” Jane is a member of Italy’s Volturi, the most deadly group of bloodsucking killers in author Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling series. In the casting notice we got our hands on earlier this month, Jane is described as a petite blonde with a “Botticelli angel-like face…[and] crimson irises.” While fellow Volturi guards Demetri & Felix “are three times the size of her, they are terrified of her,” the casting notice reads. Director Chris Weitz is expected to start shooting NEW MOON in March in the U.S. and Italy. If all goes as planned, the movie will hit theaters on Nov. 20.

I absolutely love Dakota fanning but she is definitely not a good choice for jane….she is honestly too old….and when u cut and dye her hair she wont have the innocent Dakota blonde hair appeal (she wont be innocent and “beautiful” looking….maybe to put her as renata or heidi…jane and alec should be under 10 years old

i luuuuuuuuuuuv dakota fanning..she is my girl..when i heard about this i was excited..i think she is a gr8 actress & is soooo gorgeous..she can pull it off..ppl who say she isn't good for this roll are gonna be shocked & fall in luuuuuv with this girl even more when she does take action..i say let her have the part..if she doesn't have it already..

i think dakota will play the part well. :) i wass so excited when i herd she was going to be in the movie, she is an amazing actor.
