Casting news on the new HALLOWEEN movie continues via Rob Zombie's My Space blog. The writer/director reveals that Chris Hardwick & Mark Christopher Lawrence have joined the cast of HALLOWEEN 2 (or Rob Zombie's H2).
Chris Hardwick appeared in Zombie' directorial debut HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES. Says Zombie, "Well, he didn't do so well against Dr. Satan, but maybe he'll have better luck with Michael Myers. My good buddy Chris Hardwick is returning to the fold as DAVID NEWMAN host a of a local radio talk show called THE DAILY READER."

On Mark Christopher Lawrence, "Well, again another cast member who got cut out the first time is back MARK CHRISTOPHER LAWRENCE is back as Deputy KIng a member of the Haddonfield police force."

These 2 join recently announced cast members Ezra Buzzington, Jeff Daniel Phillips and Tyler Mane returning as Michael Myers. (No word yet on Scout Taylor-Compton, Malcolm McDowell or Danielle Harris reprising their roles, but they're all expected to return.) Tyler Bates resumes scoring duties. The follow up picks up immediately where the first HALLOWEEN left off. Shooting begins in February 23rd in Atlanta, Georgia with a August 28th, 2009 release date locked.
