This Saturday October 18th, 2008, ICONS OF FRIGHT is proud to be one of the sponsors for AN OCTOBER EVENING, a massive genre-related event taking place in Salt Lake City, UT!

"AN OCTOBER EVENING" will be brought to you by Stephen Simmons of SKS Productions, and Christel Edwards (our own very first FRIGHT GIRL OF THE MONTH!) Inspired by the October season, the show will present a variety of art works, to satisfy your dark side.

This monstrous event will include a screening of several horror-themed short films (by filmmakers Stephen Simmons and Mathew Pool), a guest appearance by TROMA's Lloyd Kaufman, a guest appearance by director Joe Lynch (WRONG TURN 2) showing off one of his recent FRIGHTFEST short film, a performance by VILE BLUE SHADES, a LIVE suspension performance by DUSTIN of IRIS PIERCING, fire dancing (!) and indoor ethereal performance by REALA of INCENDIARY CIRCUS, artwork display by PATRICK KENDALL, photography exhibit by RENEE LEE, belly dancing (!) by BLACK STAR and much, much more.

ICONS OF FRIGHT will be providing free posters and DVD give-aways courtesy of our friends in Magnolia Pictures and Anchor Bay Entertainment.
