Ueki is a student that has more than one class. H has his regular schooling, but he also has a supernatural destiny in a battle of mystic direction. He has the power to turn garbage into plant life. He must learn to use his power to win a mystical battle royal that will grant the winner any power he can think of. The problem is, his teacher, Mr. K has not told him any of the details. Ueki doesn’t know he will get another power if he wins. Doesn’t know that his competitors are actually trying to kill him or that his Mr. K will become the “King Of The Celestial World” if his student wins the tournament. His friend Ai Mori has found out what is going on by accident and is bent on helping Ueki without him finding out. Li Ho is another competitor that is not as blood thirsty as the rest. He has helped Ueki beat a couple of competitors, even though he too is supposed to kill Ueki in the long run, he just has a better senses of right and wrong and realizes some of the contestants are too powerful and don’t deserve to receive a chosen power. He likes Ueki for his innocence and too that end, he starts to fill him in on what his teacher has not. This disk contains the first four episodes of the series.
