The film has two tag lines. The first is “You can’t spell H ell without it” and “Se7en meets Silence Of The Lambs”. The first is just plain clever. The second is unbelievable appropriate. The storyline has nothing to do with either of those films, but the ambience and the structure of the film will instantly appeal to fans of those films. A mass murderer is caught and sentenced to prison. A year later, murders start happening again in the same manner and is most definitely a copy cat killer. Detectives Kim Mi Yun and Kang Tae Hyun are assigned the case and start flooding through tons of evidence and crime scenes to try and find a killer. When they find him though, is it really him? Saying more would give away the plot line and that is the best part of the film. The clues are there to figure out the culprit, but how good are you? This Korean film is proof again that the American film market is falling behind the rest of the world. We do a good film and then do really bad rip off versions of it for years to come. This is no rip off, but it is damn good and high on my must see films from Tartan. The disc also features a behind the scenes feature, Easter Eggs, and a deleted alternate opening sequence.
