Icons Of Fright Goes To Haddonfield

So, I was out in Burbank for the Fangoria Weekend Of Horror's convention at the beginning of June. A few days after the convention experience, I got together with my buddy Paul Swearingen; who showed me around to all the locations where the majority of Halloween's Part 1 & 2 were filmed in South Pasadena. Other spots included Tommy's school which is in Alhambra, The town square (from H2), the cemetery (from H1) and the Fog Church are located in Sierra Madre. And let me tell you... there is nothing more surreal then actually standing in the exact spots that you've seen on television hundreds of times prior to actually being there. Granted, I didn't think to watch the first 2 Halloween films before my trip, so all the angles aren't exactly as they were in the movies. I did my best to capture the spots from memory. But the screen stills should help you recognize some of these spots. As an added bonus, we happened to stumble upon some locations from one of my all-time favorite 80's movie, the original 'Back To The Future'. The 'BTTF' houses were in South Pasadena & Doc Brown's house in Pasadena. Check out all the pictures below! Special thanks to Paul Swearingen for showing me all these spots!

This screwdriver was a 'mark' for the crew to remember where the light's for the shot were set up. The screwdriver is still there 20 plus years later.
